Wedding Stories

Wedding photography came into my path and gave me a space where my documentary eye and my love for editorial beauty could fuse in the most organic way, into something whole.
I’m Sofia, and Chérie is my own way of honoring what’s real. Photography started for me as a way of documenting my own life, the things happening around me, my travels around the world, a way to keep all those moments somewhere. It gave me a voice to say what I couldn’t say.

Why get married in Tulum
Tulum has become one of the most sought-after wedding destinations in the world. Its mix of jungle, ocean, light and modern architecture creates an atmosphere that feels both intimate and cinematic.
The best time to get married in Tulum is between October and May , when the humidity drops, the light turns golden, and the Caribbean runs a shade of blue that doesn't seem real until you're standing in front of it. November through March is peak season for a reason.

Say hello!

I’d love to hear about your wedding —
the atmosphere you’re dreaming of,
and what feels essential to you both.
The more you share, the more thoughtfully
I can support and align with your vision.

Tulum Wedding Photographer - FAQS
What is your photography style?
Editorial and documentary. I blend a refined compositional eye with a deeply human, observational approach. I'm not directing your destination wedding, I'm living it with you and capturing what's real. For certain moments like couple portraits, getting ready, the quieter in-between scenes — I love bringing a more editorial touch when it feels natural. Every couple is different, and I always read the room.
How many hours of coverage do you offer?
I offer 6, 8, and 10 hour wedding photography packages as a starting point, but every wedding is different. Some couples need coverage across multiple days: a welcome dinner, a Tulum ceremony, a day-after shoot along the Riviera Maya. I'm completely open to building something that fits exactly what you have planned. Just tell me about your wedding and we'll figure out what makes sense together.
Can we meet before booking?
Absolutely. I always suggest a video call before anything is confirmed. It's important that we connect and that you feel comfortable with me — whether you're planning a destination wedding in Tulum, a hacienda celebration in Yucatán, or something else entirely. Chemistry matters as much as style.
When will we receive our photos?
You'll get a sneak peek within the first week — a selection of my favourite moments from your day. Your full edited wedding gallery is delivered within 6 to 8 weeks, depending on your package.
How do we check your availability and get pricing?
Fill out the contact form and I'll send you a full information guide including packages and investment for your Tulum or destination wedding. I photograph a limited number of weddings each year, so if you have a date in mind, reaching out early is always a good idea.
What is the investment for wedding photography in Tulum?
My Tulum wedding photography packages start at $2,500 USD and can be tailored to each couple, from intimate elopements to multi-day celebrations. Reach out and I'll send you the full guide.
Do you travel outside Tulum?
Yes I do! Across the Riviera Maya, Yucatán, all of Mexico, and internationally for the right wedding. A destination fee applies outside my base area.

For couples who ...
Are in the middle of planning their destination wedding and are taking their time to find the right person to document it.
For couples who know that a wedding day goes by faster than anything. That the feeling of it, the warmth, the laughter, the quiet moments in between is fragile.
Whether it's a jungle ceremony in Tulum, a beachfront elopement along the Riviera Maya, or a hacienda celebration in Yucatán, what you're really looking for is to hold onto that feeling forever and something that takes you straight back to how it felt to be there.
If that sounds like you, I'd love to be part of your day.
